To attract foreign investment as well as to accelerate the industrial growth in Uttar Pradesh, State government would adopt the Gujrat Model by holding a seminar with the leading industrialists of United States.
The programme Rs Rs Accelerating Business in UP’ is scheduled for October 23 later this month with chief minister Yogi Adityanath would unfold the government plan and initiatives taken to boost industrial growth in the State. Rs Rs Industrialists from many countries as well as for India had already start seeing Uttar Pradesh as the new destination for expansion of industrial growth but now some top industrialists who were part of United States India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) would come to Lucknow and discussed with the government about their plan of investment as well as setting up of industries here in UP”, revealed government spokesman Siddharthnath Singh.
Talking to media persons here on Saturday, Singh said that in Gujrat when Narendra Modi was chief minister, the delegates of USISPF, which is then known as United States India Business Council (USIBC), visited Gujrat after which the state went for major industrial growth. He said that now to give UP a new facelift where top industrialists from across the world would be looking forward to invest in Uttar Pradesh, state government led by Yogi Aditiyanath had also chalked out a major plan and a meeting with members of USISPF is one of the major step in this regard.
Singh claimed that besides their interaction with the USISPF, a government delegation would be also a part of discussion on business opportunities and investment with the delegation of the British High Commissioner. He claimed that this meeting with the British delegates will be held in the national capital on October 17. There are many more steps which would come before the public in the coming days regarding major industrial expansion in the State, claimed government spokesman.
